How Do I Market Internal Plans to Members and Prospective Members?

An Internal share link, for both Visible and Hidden Plans, allows people to see the Internal Plan Landing Page (for a Space or a Course).

Sharing the Internal Plan Landing Page link will prompt members or new members to either sign in or create an account.

This is the best link to use to market your Internal Plans (Plans for Spaces, Courses etc..) to both members and prospective members. You can use this share link in marketing emails or communication and it will work for both members and prospective members.

It will prompt members to sign in and prospective members to create an account and sign up.

You have two options for the Plan checkout link: Redirect to Sign In or Redirect to Create Account.

Redirect to Sign In: This link will skip the landing page and go directly to the Sign In page before checkout. People who are already signed in will go directly to checkout. This is a great link to use when marketing to mainly existing members.

Redirect to Checkout: This link will skip the landing page and go directly to the Create Account page before checkout. People who are already signed in will go directly to checkout. This is a great link to use when marketing to mainly to prospective members.

Check out this video on how the feature works for a paid Mighty Network

If you have a paid Mighty Network, your new members will choose Create Account.

This will lead them to Choose an External Plan.

“Choosing a Plan” will prompt them to then create an account

If Screening Questions or Approvals are enabled, they will then encounter those.

After they purchase the External Plan, then they will be shown the Internal Plan landing page, where they can then purchase the Internal Plan.

For existing members, sign in will take them to the login page and then directly to the landing page for the Plan.

If you have a private, secret or public Mighty Network, your new members will choose “Create Account”.

After they create an account, they will then be taken to the Internal Plan Landing Page so they can purchase the Plan.

If the member has access to the Spaces in a bundle Plan and you share the link, they will be dropped into the default landing Space for the Mighty Network.

For private Mighty Networks, the Plan landing page link will bypass screening questions and approvals.

For secret Mighty Networks, the Plan landing page link will act like an invite link to the Mighty Network.

Create a Discount for a Plan

A Hidden Plan is how you'll create a special price or discount for a Plan.

If you send someone a share link for a Hidden Plan and they close the sales page before purchasing, it will disappear. They will need to click on the share link again to see the Hidden Plan.

For more details, check out this article.

Deactivate a Share Link for a Hidden Plan

If you ever need to deactivate a share link for Hidden Plan because you want to prevent people from using it to join that Plan, just click Delete All Links. There will be a pop up to confirm that you would like to delete them. At this time, there isn't a way to delete one share link, you will need to delete all. This will invalidate any share links that exist and generate new ones.

This will allow you to delete the old link and generate a new one that can be shared out.

Share Links and Your Ambassador Program

If you have the Ambassador Program switched on, each one of your members has a unique referral link to invite prospective members. For paid Mighty Networks, the Ambassador program link will take a prospective member to your Mighty Network's Landing Page, where they'll see all options publicly available for purchase. When the new member pays and joins, the referral will be tracked.

A member cannot create a share link to a Plan, nor is there a way to track a member sharing a link to a Plan. This is where the Ambassador Program is not a formal Affiliate Program with financial tracking and payouts for referrals.

If you have further questions about how these links work, or how to invite someone to purchase a Visible or Hidden Plan, please drop us a note.
