Your Ambassador Program is the member referral system you can enable on your Mighty Network when you upgrade to The Community or above.
Members who refer other members to your Mighty Network are called Ambassadors and are recognized (and can be rewarded) for referring new people. The Ambassador Program is not an Affiliate Program that tracks and pays out referrals. Rather, it's designed to drive intrinsic motivation to refer members based on the value of the Mighty Network.

What Happens When You Enable Your Ambassador Program
Your Ambassador Program is disabled by default. To enable your Ambassador Program, click on your profile picture in the top right corner > Admin > Invites and Approvals > Ambassador Program.
Enabling your Ambassador Program means:
You as the Host can trigger an Ambassador announcement to your current members as soon as you enable your Ambassador Program by going to Manage > Send an Announcement.
New members will get an in-app notification as well as an email encouraging them to refer new members when they sign up.
Members will get access to their own personalized referral link that they can grab anytime from the Invite page, or from their profile in the Mighty Networks mobile apps.
Note: If a member shares their ambassador link, it will not appear in the "Invite Sent" list. This list only records invites sent through the email invitation feature.As a Host, you will be able to see and track your Ambassadors from your Members' page. Hosts on the Courses Plan and up also get full access to all the data around who referred who and member referral counts when downloading your Member List.
Members can see exactly how many members they've referred and their Ambassador level from the Invite page within your Mighty Network.
To access and use the "Send an Announcement" feature, your Mighty Network must have at least one member. If you have already clicked "Send an Announcement" once, you'll need to disable and re-enable the Ambassador Program to use this feature again.

When your member clicks the notification, they will be able to access their own personalized referral link that they can grab anytime from the Invite page, the Invite icon (on the web), or from their profile in the Mighty Networks mobile apps.

How the Ambassador Program Works
When members refer new people who join, they become a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Ambassador:
Bronze Ambassadors refer at least 2 members
Silver Ambassadors refer at least 10 members
Gold Ambassadors refer at least 25 members
Currently, there isn't a way to add new levels or rename existing ones.
As members rise in the rankings, they get an automatic notification *and* can see their status on their profile. Once you enable the Ambassador Program, rankings cannot be reset.
If your Mighty Network is Plan Access:
Members can invite other members via the Invite page, by selecting the Invite icon (on the web), or by sharing out their unique referral link.
Invited members are routed through the main Mighty Network Landing Page. As soon as they pay or confirm access and join, the member who referred them will receive credit on their profile.
Members who are invited by other members via the Ambassador Program must choose a Plan and are not granted free access to your paid Mighty Network. To allow them to join for free, you, as the Host, need to send them an invitation or share the link to a hidden Free Plan.
If your Paid Plan includes a Free Trial, Members invited while on a Free Trial will still count towards the referring Member's Ambassador credit even if that Member subsequently cancels their trial.
If your Mighty Network is public:
Members can invite other members via the Invite page, by selecting the Invite icon (on the web), or by sharing out their unique referral link.
Anyone they invite can join your public Mighty Network without approval.
From there, they can sign up and the member who referred them will receive credit on their profile.
If your Mighty Network is private:
Members can invite other members via the Invite page, by selecting the Invite icon (on the web), or by sharing out their unique referral link.
Invited members are routed through the Landing Page, where they will see a button prompting them to "Join." From there, they need to create an account, at which point the member who referred them will receive credit on their profile.
If you as the Host have a Request to Join Form set up, invited members will not be required to answer these questions first before they can join.
Adding Custom Rewards for Ambassadors
You also have the option to add custom rewards for your Ambassadors. Enabling rewards is optional, and you can do so by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner > Admin > Invites and Approvals > Ambassador Program > Manage Additional Ambassador Rewards.
Here are a few examples of how our Hosts are using rewards to motivate their Ambassadors:
Level up to receive a discount code for 10% off in our online shop.
Level up to receive a free tote bag branded with our community logo.
Level up to receive a place as our featured member of the month.
Level up to receive a complimentary ticket to our next event.
Once a member reaches a new level, you have the opportunity to share specific instructions for how to redeem the reward. Here are a few examples:
You’re now a Silver Ambassador! Pat yourself on the back and enjoy 10% off in our online store using this discount code: XYZ
Thank you for helping us spread the word! One of our Hosts will be sending you a chat soon so that we can get your information and send you a free t-shirt.

You can update or disable rewards anytime.
Turning Off Your Ambassador Program
You can turn off the Ambassador Program by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner > Admin > Invites and Approvals > Ambassador Program and disabling this feature.
