Use plans if you want to require people to do one or more of the following when joining:
Pay (Payments gate)
Answer questions (Screening Questions gate)
Request approval (Approval gate)
Once your plans are set up, members can purchase them on the web, in the Mighty iOS app, or in your custom app if you’re a Mighty Pro Host.

Choose Where Your Plan Appears
After you create a plan, decide where you want members or visitors to be able to find it.
Go to Admin > Plans > Plan List, select your plan, and open the Visibility & Sharing tab.
A plan becomes visible (instead of hidden) when you select one or more of the following:
If none of these options are selected, the plan remains hidden and can only be joined through a share link.
How Members Purchase Plans on the Web
When a visitor or non-member comes to your Network Landing Page, they’ll see all plans that you’ve made visible and can choose which one to purchase or access.
After selecting a plan, members will see a detailed view where they can review the plan’s subscription options and choose the payment frequency that works best for them.
Create Account: The new member enters their name, email, and password to create their account.
Enter Payment Information: Finally, the member enters their credit card details to complete the purchase.
Note: If you’d like to direct members straight to the Plans section on your landing page, just add /?choose_a_plan to the end of your URL, like so:

Members—and visitors, if your Network visibility allows—will see any plans you’ve made visible in a Collection and can select Buy to continue.
After selecting a plan, a detailed view appears.
If they already have an account, they’ll see an option to enter their payment details and purchase the plan.
With Token-Gated Plans, members will see the required token or tokens listed directly on the plan page.
After a Purchase
They will receive a receipt from Stripe with your Network name, the charge amount, and your contact details.
How Members Purchase Plans on Mobile
Plans on iOS
On iOS, new plans must be approved by Apple before members can purchase them. If you need expedited approval, select the Need Help? button in the bottom right corner of your Host account and ask our team to support the approval process.
Once approved, members can buy plans on iOS using Apple’s in-app payment system, which connects to their App Store account. Currency conversion is handled automatically based on the member’s location.
Linking to the Web for Plan Purchases
As of May 2025, Apple’s policy guidelines allow Hosts in the United States to include direct links to the web for digital purchases. Policies vary by country and may change, so check Apple’s guidelines regularly if you serve members globally.
Important Details About iOS Purchases
Apple charges a 15% fee on each transaction made through the App Store.
Purchases made through the App Store cannot be canceled or refunded by you.
Members must manage and update their subscriptions directly in their App Store account.
Plans on Android
When you sell paid plans, the Android app will let members know that purchases must be completed through a mobile browser or desktop.
Bank Statements
For web purchases, members will see the statement descriptor you’ve set up in your Stripe account on their bank statement.
For iOS purchases, the charge will appear as “Apple.com Bill.”
Email confirmations for iOS purchases will display the name of your Mighty Network.
