Your Plan Payments
We want you to get paid quickly and reliably! Mighty Networks processes all payments through Stripe, our trusted third-party payment processor, which is supported in 46 countries.
We do not currently support PayPal or other payment processors, but you can use an external payment method if needed. To learn more, see Can I Take Payments Off Platform?
Connecting Stripe
When you add your first Plan, you’ll be prompted to connect your Mighty Network to Stripe.
For all web purchases, payments are collected directly through Stripe. You can link a bank account and transfer funds there.
For iOS app purchases, payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. Apple sends bulk payments to Mighty Networks, and we deposit those funds into your connected Stripe account.
iOS payments take 8–12 weeks to process and typically arrive about one month behind the current date. This delay is due to Apple’s payout schedule.
Your Income Reports
Your Income Reports show how much you’ve earned from selling Plans within your Mighty Network.
Each report includes:
Gross revenue by Plan
Fees and taxes collected
Net revenue (after fees)
Apple payouts (if applicable)
Income Reports also summarize past activity, including revenue received through Stripe. They display the currency your Network is settled in on Stripe, regardless of which currencies are enabled on your Network.
To learn more about selling in multiple currencies, see Selling in Multiple Currencies.
How to View Income Reports
Go to Profile Picture (top right) > Admin > Plans > Income Reports.
From here:
Each Income Report represents a specific time period.
Your first report will be ready 8–12 weeks after setting up your first active Plan.
You’ll receive ongoing reports mid-month, covering the previous 8 weeks (to align with Apple’s payout delay).
Click any individual Plan in the overview to view a detailed breakdown.
Mighty Pro Hosts:
If you have your own branded iOS app, Apple fees will not appear in your Mighty Networks Income Reports. You can find full details within your App Store Connect account.
Income Information in Stripe
You can also view revenue directly in Stripe:
Log into your Stripe account.
Go to Product Catalog > Analyze.
Review data such as:
Total MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) by product
Active Subscribers by product
Total Subscription Quantity by product
These reports show performance by product over the past two years.
Note: Plan names from Mighty Networks do not transfer to Stripe. You’ll need to identify plans by subscription interval and price.
Please note that Plan names do not transfer from Mighty Networks to Stripe, so you need to identify each plan based on the subscription interval and price.
Transaction Fees
When a member purchases a Plan, several fees may apply.
Mighty Networks Transaction Fee
Mighty Networks charges a platform transaction fee, which varies depending on your Network’s Plan level. This fee is automatically deducted from your Stripe account.
Stripe Fees
Stripe (and most credit card companies) also charge a small processing fee, typically 2.5%–5% for web purchases.
There are no Stripe fees for iOS purchases.
You can find more details in our article on Using Stripe with Your Mighty Network.
Apple Fees
For purchases made through the Mighty Networks iOS app, all payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchases and managed via the App Store.
Apple takes a 15% transaction fee per purchase. Mighty Networks does not charge a transaction fee for iOS purchases.
Tip: You can set a higher price on iOS to offset Apple’s required transaction fee.
Mighty Pro Hosts:
If you’re part of the App Store Small Business Program, your Apple transaction fee percentage may differ.
Taxes
As a Host using payment features on Mighty Networks, you are responsible for any applicable taxes—both where you are located and where your members are purchasing from.
To simplify this, we integrate with Quaderno, a third-party tax tool that connects directly with Stripe and supports flexible tax setup.
Default Tax Setting
By default, no taxes are collected for member purchases made on web. This includes both new purchases and ongoing subscriptions.
Collecting Taxes via Quaderno
To collect taxes, set up Quaderno to integrate with your Stripe account and Mighty Networks purchase flow.
For setup instructions, see Setting Up Taxes with Quaderno.
iOS App Purchases
For all purchases made through the iOS app, Apple handles tax collection and remittance directly with the appropriate tax authorities.
