Plans are the most flexible way to give members access to your Mighty Network, Spaces, or both.
Before setting up your first Plan, you must decide how you want to set them up and what you want to charge for, or gate.

To create a new plan, go to Admin > Plan List and select the “+” icon
In the Pricing type menu, you will see the option to set up Installments
This setup allows a one-time purchase plan to be split into multiple monthly payments. We will be looking into adding interval options for subscriptions in the future.
When creating an Installment Plan, you’ll define:
The total cost of the plan
How many months the payments will be spread across
The system will automatically calculate the payment amount per month. There’s no deposit or partial access, and members must complete the full installment schedule to keep access.
Important Notes:
Members who default on a payment cannot resume mid-plan; a new plan must be created, or you can coordinate a new arrangement.
Installments are available only for One-Time Purchases (not subscriptions).
Billing is handled entirely through Stripe, including automatic retries for failed payments.
Mighty Networks controls access based on payment status. If the final payment attempt fails, the member will lose access automatically.
You can see each member’s payment progress in the Plan Details view.
Combine Offers
You’ll also be able to combine offers when creating a plan.
This feature lets you show multiple pricing options for the same Space or bundle side-by-side.

Members Experience
When Installments are set up for a One-Time Purchase, members can choose whether to pay in full or in monthly payments.
Here’s what to expect:
The first installment is charged right away, and full access is granted immediately.
Members commit to the full schedule of payments (since it’s not a subscription)and cannot cancel or reschedule.
If payments fail, Stripe will retry them automatically. If all attempts fail, access is removed.
There is no way to resume an installment plan after defaulting. Members will need to start again or contact the Host to explore other options.
Members can track their payment progress under Personal Settings > Plans and Access.
Frequently Asked Questions
For Hosts
Do I get the full amount upfront?
No. You receive member payments monthly through Stripe as they are made.
Can I use Installments with a free trial or deposit?
Not at this time. We’re exploring this for future updates.
What happens if a member stops paying?
Stripe will retry payments. After the final failed attempt, Mighty Networks revokes access automatically.
Can I manually restart a member’s installment after a default?
Not within the same plan. You’ll need to provide access via a new plan or other method.
Can I add installments to an existing One-Time Plan?
No. You’ll need to create a new plan to use this feature.
Can I offer multiple installment options in one plan?
No. Each plan supports only one installment configuration.
For Members
What if I miss a payment?
Stripe will retry your payment. If all retries fail, your access will be revoked. There is no way to pick up where you left off—you’ll need to contact the Host or rejoin through a new plan.
Can I cancel or modify my Installment Plan?
No. Once you choose this option, you commit to completing all payments.
Can I use Installments on Subscriptions?
No. Installments are only supported for One-Time Purchases.
Why don’t all One-Time Purchases have Installment options?
This is up to the Host. They choose whether to offer installments on a per-plan basis.
