How Can I Review Reported Content or Members in My Mighty Network?
Updated over a week ago

Network Hosts, you have access to a Moderation section that lists both Reported Members and Reported Content, making it easy to manage your community. Here’s how to navigate and manage reports:

  1. Log In on a Web Browser: Start by logging into your account.

  2. Access Your Profile: Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

  3. Enter Admin Mode: Select "Admin" from the dropdown menu.

  4. Find Moderation Tools: Scroll down to the "Moderation" section.

  5. Choose Your View: Select either "Reported Members" or "Reported Content" to review and manage reports.

Below are the options your members see when reporting another member.

Here's how the "Reported Members" section appears when there are pending reports to manage.

Easily manage reports by clicking the three-dot menu next to a member's name. From there, you can choose to "View Reports" or "Clear Reports."

  • View Reports: See the detailed reasons why this member was reported.

  • Clear Reports: Remove the report if no further action is needed.

From there, you can take action to either Remove or Ban the member.

Content reported by two or more members is automatically hidden from your Mighty Network, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. As a Network and/or Space Host, you have the ability to review and take action on all reported content.

Here’s how it works:

  • Separate Reported Content Lists: There are distinct lists for the main Network and each Space. You can access these lists via the email or in-app notifications you receive when content is flagged.

  • Hidden Content: When content is reported by two or more members, it is automatically hidden from everyone in the Network, except for the content creator, who will still see it to avoid alerting them that it has been hidden. Hidden content will have an icon indicating its status when viewed on the Reported Content list.

Content reported by only one member remains visible in the Network but appears on the Reported Content list.

Reported content created by Hosts remains visible no matter how many times it is reported but appears on the Reported Content list.

Hosts can take action on the reported content directly from the list, or they can click to view the content in full and take action. As a Host, you can:

  • Delete the content

  • View details on who reported the content and the reason

  • Clear the reports on the content so that the content is no longer hidden and the count resets to zero

  • Remove the creator of the content from the Space

  • Remove the creator of the content from the Network

If Hosts take no action on hidden content then it remains hidden. If they take no action on content that has been reported only once then it remains visible unless it is reported a second time and becomes hidden.
