How Do I Message Members in My Network?

Learn how to message members in your Network

Updated this week

As a Network Host or Network moderator, you can send messages to all full members in your Mighty Network or target specific members inside a Space. These messages help you share important updates, make announcements, and welcome new members.

Message All Full Members in Your Mighty Network

To send a message to all full members:

  1. Go to Admin > Members > Member List.

  2. Open the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Message All Full Members.

Write your announcement in the editor. You can highlight text to add links or adjust formatting.

Members will receive your message by email or push notification, depending on their personal notification settings.

Important Notes

  • Only full members receive this message—limited members do not.

  • You will not see updates in your own notifications when Members use the Message All Members feature.

  • Members who haven’t logged in for 18 months will not receive notifications.

Customizing Welcome Messages

You can customize welcome messages in two ways:

1. Use Automations (Growth Plan and up)

Create an Automation that triggers when someone joins:

  • Your Mighty Network, or

  • A specific Space

Set the action to Send a private message to deliver a custom welcome automatically from any Host you choose.

2. Manually Message Recent Members

  1. Filter your Member List by Date Joined (Latest).

  2. Select the members you want to message.

  3. Go to Bulk Actions > Send Message.

What Do Members See?

When a member receives a message:

  • Their in-app notification says:
“Your Host [Name] sent you a message.”

  • Clicking the notification opens the message.

  • Clicking Reply opens a private chat with the Host.

    • Reply is available on web only.

Additional Message Options
