Network and Space Hosts are able to change a Space's privacy settings from plan access to public, private or secret. You can do this by clicking on the gear icon in the Space > Details > Privacy Setting.

When you choose the new privacy setting, you'll see this pop-up:

Option 1 guides you through steps to maintain your current subscription payments. After choosing option 1, you'll see this pop-up:

If the Space is the only one on a plan, then we recommend adding a Space to the plan to keep the members paying for access to a Space.

If you need to add a Space to a plan, go to Admin > Plans > Plan List and click into the plan. In the upper right corner, select the three dot menu in the plan Details page > Manage Spaces in Plan.

From there, you can add Spaces to the plan and optionally message members to let them know about the plan changes.

If the Space is part of a plan with multiple Spaces, then there’s no need to add Spaces to the plan before changing the Space's privacy setting.

After you make those changes, then you can go back to Space Settings > Details and change the privacy. Any non-subscription plans (Free, No Payment Gate, One-Time Purchase, or Token-Gated) that include access to only this Space will be deactivated. All current members of the Space will remain members of the Space.

Option 2 will put a stop to all subscription payments from that Space. When you choose

Option 2, you'll see this pop-up:

You'll need to deactivate all plans that include that Space, including bundle plans, in order to proceed with this option. No members will lose access to the Space during this process.

Then, go to Space Settings > Details > change the privacy for the Space.

​Note: Changing a Space's Privacy Setting from plan Access to another setting will change a Bundle plan from Visible to Hidden. After making this change, you will need tomanually set the plan back to Visible.

The first step you will need to take is to make an Internal plan. This can be a single plan or bundled with other Spaces.

Head to Admin > plans > plan List and select the “+” icon in the upper right corner.

Be sure to keep the Network toggled to “Excluded” as in the screenshot below and add the Space or Spaces you would like to create a plan for.

After you create the plan, you will need to make the plan visible.

When you do, you will see the pop up below to confirm that you would like to change the Space to plan Access.

When you click "Change to plan Access" then you will see the pop up below letting you know that existing members will be moved to a new plan with no payment gate.

All members will retain access to your Space and you will be able to find them on the new "Legacy Plan (auto-generated)" by clicking gear icon > Payments > Space plans.
