How to Raise Prices for a Subscription Plan for New Members
Yes, you can raise prices for new members while keeping existing members on their current subscription rate. To do this, you’ll hide the original plan and create a new, higher-priced version.
Step 1: Hide Your Existing Subscription Plan
Go to the plan’s settings and open the Visibility & Sharing tab.
Uncheck all boxes under Choose Where This Plan Appears.
This removes the plan from being shown or sold anywhere, but existing members will continue paying their current price with no changes.
Step 2: Duplicate the Plan
Go to Admin > Plans > Plan List
Hover over the plan you want to duplicate
Select the three-dot menu
Choose Duplicate Plan
This creates a copy of the plan with the same structure and access.
Step 3: Update the Price
Open the duplicated plan and update the price to your new subscription rate.
Step 4: Make the New Plan Visible
In the Visibility & Sharing tab, select at least one option under Choose Where This Plan Appears.
Step 5: Update Any Share Links
If you previously used plan share links to sell the lower-priced plan:
Delete the old share links from the hidden plan
Create new share links for the higher-priced plan
Use the new links in any emails, posts, or promotional materials
Raising Prices for Existing Members
