Gamification features in Mighty help keep members motivated and engaged through daily streaks, milestones, points, and recognition.

You can use Streaks and Points together or independently.

Note: Limited members have access to Streaks only. Full members can access both Streaks and Recognitions.

Streaks encourage members to return to your Mighty Network every day by tracking their daily visits.

Go to Admin > Gamification > Streaks to turn this feature on or off.

On web, streaks appear within the Gamification icon (next to the invite icon in the upper right).
On mobile, they appear within the profile area in the bottom navigation tab.

Each member can view:

Milestones and emojis aren’t customizable at this time.

These emojis appear publicly and help inspire other members to build their own streaks.

Members also see a weekly calendar view showing recent activity.
Selecting See More opens their full streak calendar on their profile.
This calendar is visible to everyone in your Mighty Network unless a member chooses to hide it.

To hide the streak calendar, go to Personal Settings > Streaks and toggle off Public Streak Calendar.

Members will see:

If a member has at least a 2-day streak and hasn’t signed in by 2pm local time, they’ll receive a reminder to continue their streak.

Streak popups also appear inside Mighty Networks (top right on web, bottom of screen on mobile). These notifications can’t currently be disabled.

These features celebrate members for embodying your community’s values and for engaging regularly.

Go to Admin > Gamification > Community Values > Get Started.

You’ll see three default values—you can edit, delete, or add your own.

Select Create from Recommendations to view suggested values, or Create New to build your own. You can customize each value’s name and image.

All values are currently worth 20 points and are not customizable.

If you edit or remove a value, it will update or be removed for all members.

Members earn points in two ways:

Members can recognize another member by hovering over their profile photo and selecting Recognize on a post, comment, chat, or profile.

They’ll then:

The recipient gets a notification (push, email or in-app) and selecting it opens a page where they can Say Thanks (which starts a new direct message) or sends them to the post or comment where they were recognized.

You can automate point awards or recognitions using Triggers and Actions in Automations.

Automatically award points, add tags, or take other actions when a member hits a streak milestone.

Award points for specific actions, such as:

A simple option is to use the Tag Added Trigger so anyone you tag (tags are invisible to members) instantly earns the number of points you specify.

Yes. Go to Admin > Gamification > Streaks and toggle off Streaks.

Absolutely. Community Values and Points work independently from Streaks. Members will still earn daily points, and you can continue to award points through Automations.

Go to Personal Settings > Notifications > Streaks and toggle them off.

Streaks are based on daily visits between 12:00am and 11:59pm in a member’s local time zone.
To get credit for a visit, members just need to open your Mighty Network (on web or mobile). If the streak doesn’t update, they can refresh the page—logging out isn’t necessary.

Deleting a Recognition removes it from all members who have received it.
