Is Mighty Networks GDPR and CCPA Compliant?
Updated over 3 weeks ago

Yes! We’ve done extensive work to ensure your Mighty Network is GDPR and CCPA compliant and your data (and your members' data) is stored securely.

Please note that we do not sell your personal data – such as your name or your members’ names and contact information – to third parties to use for their own marketing purposes.

Please see our full list of policies here.

Summary of GDPR Compliance

In GDPR terminology, Hosts are the Data Controllers and Mighty Networks is the Data Processor.

The only information that Mighty Networks collects from members for our own purposes is IP Address and mobile device ID. We need this information so that we and the companies that support our website and apps know where to send responses to your page requests. We also use it to determine your general geographic location and make the name of your town visible to your fellow Network Members.

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained. You can also delete your Mighty Network account (on a Network by Network basis); for instructions, see here. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.

We have a full GDPR summary for review and you can find our most up-to-date policies at mightynetworks.com/policies. Here is a list of countries where GDPR has been implemented.

For more information, including details about how we comply with data subject rights under GDPR, and more information on invoking your right to delete, please see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, or contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@mightynetworks.com.

Summary of CCPA Compliance

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. You can also delete your Mighty Network account (on a Network by Network basis); for instructions, see here.
