How It Appears to Members
Landing Page Footer: Your custom terms will show in the footer with your chosen name. Example: "Modern Creator Terms."
Account Creation: When members create an account, they’ll see the following statement just above the "Create Account" button:
“You agree to [Custom Terms] and the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the service provider.”
For Plan Access Networks, on the payment confirmation page, new members will see links to the "Privacy Policy," "Terms of Use," and your [Custom Terms] at the bottom of the screen.
For Members in the U.S.
When creating an account, members in the United States agree to:
Mighty Networks' Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
Your custom terms of use
For Members Outside the U.S. (GDPR)
For members in GDPR-compliant countries, three checkboxes appear:
Terms Agreement (required): "By creating an account, I agree to [Your Network’s] Terms and Mighty Networks’ Terms of Use and Privacy Policy."
Activity Updates (optional): Members can opt in for email updates about activity within your Network.
Marketing Emails (optional): Members can opt into your external mailing list for newsletters or special offers.

Notes:
Mighty Networks does not send marketing emails to your members. Even if a member opts out, their email is available on your downloadable member list, with a column marking those who opted out of commercial emails.
If new Custom Terms are added to your Network, members who joined before this update won’t be automatically prompted to accept the new terms.
