If you're seeing this page, it means your Mighty Network has been upgraded with new features that make plans and privacy a whole lot easier to manage. π
Watch the video below to see a detailed walkthrough of these updates.
And keep reading for a detailed look at exactly what changed in your Mighty Network.
New Privacy & Access Settings
In the Privacy & Access settings for both your Network and for each Space, you'll now see the option to make three independent decisions:
How do people join this? Through an invite only, through a plan, or anyone can join without restrictions
Who can see content and profiles inside? Anyone or only signed-in members
Who can see that it exists at all? Anyone or only those invited
Simplified Access Through Plans
Plans offer an easy way to require that people pay, answer questions, and/or request approval before joining your Network or the Spaces inside. And good news: we've dramatically simplified how they work.
The legacy concept of Internal and External plans is gone forever, and now you only need to decide what's included in every plan you create or edit.
Plus, we're letting you decide where you want a plan to be visible: on your Network Landing Page or About Page, on the Collection, or on the Space About Page.
Introducing Limited Memberships
You now have the option to offer limited memberships. π π π
Limited memberships enable you to grant access to only a Space or bundle of Spaces through a plan, without giving access to your full Network.
This is ideal for building out a challenge, course, or event series you want to offer independently or as a lead magnet.
Limited members don't have access to global Network features you've enabled like private messaging and global search. They do have access to everything included within the Space(s) they have access to via a plan.

How to Manage Inviting and Access
Your Network and Spaces have been updated to new, more flexible privacy settings and everything should mirror the same setup you have today.
There are a few scenarios where inviting and access to your Network or certain Spaces has changed, and we've laid those out here.
β If your Network was Public:
Visitors can still preview content inside your Network before joining and anyone can join easily. But now, you have the option to gate access with a plan if you want to require that people first answer screening questions or be approved before joining.
β
β If your Network was Plan Access:
You're good to goβno big changes! You also now have the option to allow people to preview content in your Network before joining.
β If your Network was Secret:
If you aren't using plans inside your Secret Network, you're all goodβyour Network is still invite-only and can only be found by those invited.

A Few More FAQs
Did the privacy settings change for Spaces inside my Network?
The Spaces inside your Network also have these flexible new privacy settings, and you can now explore your options for adjusting the visibility of Spaces and their content. If you had Private Spaces that Network members could request to join, check out this article to see how inviting and access for those Spaces changed.
What happened to my plans that only included access to Spaces? Why do they now include access to the Network?
If you had plans already set up in your Mighty Network that only granted access to a Space or bundle of Spaces (what we used to call Internal plans), you'll see that access to your Network is now automatically included in those plans. This means that new people joining those plans through plan invites or plan share links continue to join as full Network members.
Can I easily edit my plans to add or remove the Network? What if I want to start offering limited memberships through an existing plan?
You can add or remove access to the Network in a few simple steps by going to the plan you want to edit and making changes in the Manage Access area of Settings.
Just keep in mind that when you add or remove access to your Network, this could add or revoke access to the Network for any members currently on the plan (depending on whether or not they still have access to the Network through another plan). Learn more here about limited vs. full members.
Did anything change with the plan links that I'm using in my marketing and emails?
If you're already using plan links on your external website, in your emails, or through an affiliate integration you are all goodβthose links still work and grant full Network access, along with access to any Spaces included. π
