How Members Purchase

After you create a plan that you want to sell, your members can purchase this plan when they access your Mighty Network on the web, via the Mighty Networks iOS app, or via the Mighty Networks Android app.  

The price you select for what each plan will cost is consistent across the web, on iOS, and on Android. The same price will appear to members on all three platforms to ensure that everyone has a consistent experience, no matter how they choose to access your Mighty Network. One exception is that you have the option to set a separate, increased price just for iOS purchases—see the full article on how to create a plan for more details.

Here's a quick breakdown of what it looks like when a member purchases a plan on each platform.

Purchasing on the Web

If you're selling a plan to an External Audience (a plan that includes Network Membership, and you can read more here about how that works), a prospective member will first see your Mighty Network's landing page with a prompt to Choose a Plan.

When a prospective member opens up the link to see more details about the plan, they will see the full outline of what you're offering with this plan and what they will be paying.

From there, they will be able to purchase the plan quickly by creating an account and entering a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card.

If you're selling a plan to an Internal Audience (existing members of your Mighty Network, read more here about how that works), a member will see all plans available for purchase within the Groups or Courses area of your Mighty Network, depending on which features you have set up and how you've set up your plans.

Here's an example of how it will look on the web when an existing member sees the option to purchase a plan that grants access to either a bundle of groups and/or courses or access to an individual group or course:

When an existing member opens up the link to see more details about an Internal Plan, they will see the full outline of what you're offering with this plan and what they will be paying.

From there, a member will be able to purchase the plan quickly by entering a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card (if they don't already have a payment method saved on their profile), or selecting the saved payment method they want to use.

Once someone purchases a course or group, they'll see an indicator that says "Purchased" next to the course or group in the list view.

Purchasing on iOS

On iOS, a member will be prompted to pay using Apple's standard in-app payments interface that connects directly to the member's iTunes account.

Similar to how it works on the web, if you're selling a plan to an External Audience (a plan that includes Network Membership, and you can read more here about how that works), a prospective member will first see a prompt to Subscribe or Choose a Plan before they are able to sign up and access your Mighty Network.

Once they choose the plan they want to buy, they will be prompted to create an account, and they have one more opportunity to see what they are purchasing before they buy.

On Android, a member will be prompted to pay by creating an account and entering a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card. This is a very similar experience to purchasing on the web.
