Our Plans feature lets you charge for (1) access to your Mighty Network, (2) access to Spaces within your Mighty Network, or (3) with Bundle Plans, a combination of any three.
Once set up, your members will have the option to purchase your Plans on the web or iOS app.
You can use a Token-Gated Plan to gate entry to your Mighty Network or Spaces using NFTs or Cryptocurrency. To learn more about how to set up those Plans click here.
How Your External Plans Can Look
How Internal Plans Can Look
How Members Purchase Plans on the Web
If you're selling a Plan to an External Audience (a Plan that includes Network membership), a prospective member will go to your Mighty Network's Landing Page to Choose a Plan.
Here's an example Landing Page with an active Plan:
When a prospective member clicks on Choose a Plan, they'll be brought to the section of the page to view all available plans.
When a prospective member opens up the link to see more details about the Plan, they will see the full outline of what you're offering with this Plan, including the price.
From there, they will be able to purchase the Plan by creating an account and entering a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card.
If you're selling a Plan to an Internal Audience (existing members of your Mighty Network), a member will see all Plans available for purchase on the plan page for the Space (or if you've featured a Space in your Welcome Checklist or Featured Sections).
When a member opens up the link to see more details about an Internal Plan, they will see the full outline of what you're offering with this Plan and what they will be paying.
From there, a member will be able to purchase the Plan by entering a credit card, debit card, or prepaid card (if they don't already have a payment method saved on their profile), or selecting the saved payment method they want to use.
Token-Gated Plans
If you choose to create a Token-Gated Plan, the Token(s) required will show to the member on the Plan page.

After Purchasing a Plan
Once someone purchases a Space, they'll see an indicator that says "Purchased" next to the Space in the list view.
Members will receive a receipt for their purchase from Stripe. The receipt will read, "Receipt from [your Network's name]," and will include the amount charged and your Network's contact details.
When Plans Aren't Available Yet for Purchase on iOS
When you create a Plan, it's immediately approved on the web. You can make the Plan visible when you're ready and start selling it to members on these two platforms.
For External Plans, your members will see the message "Not Currently Available to Purchase." This language has been mandated by Apple to ensure that they receive their sales commission on the iOS app. As a company, Mighty Networks is not able to change this message or redirect members to make purchases elsewhere.
Note that the "Not Currently Available to Purchase" message only applies to purchases on the iOS app. Your members can still purchase a Plan on the web.
For internal plans, unapproved plans will not show up on iOS. Your members can still purchase on the web and Android.
Once Your Plan is Approved on iOS
Once your Plan has been approved by Apple, a member will be prompted to pay using Apple's standard in-app payments interface that connects directly to the member's iTunes account. Apple will automatically convert the currency depending on the user's location.
Similar to how it works on the web, if you're selling a Plan to an External Audience (a Plan that includes Network membership), a prospective member will first see a prompt to Subscribe or Choose a Plan before they are able to sign up and access your Mighty Network.
Once they choose the subscription they want to buy, they will be prompted to create an account, and they have one more opportunity to see what they are purchasing before they buy.
Members will then be prompted to pay using Apple's standard in-app payments interface that connects directly to the iTunes member's account.
If you're selling a Plan to an Internal Audience (existing members of your Mighty Network), a member will see all Plans available for purchase inside of your Mighty Network on iOS, depending on which features you have set up and how you've set up your Plans.
From here, a member will be able to purchase the Plan easily using Apple's standard in-app payments interface that connects directly to their iTunes account.
How Plans Appear on Android
When you choose to sell paid plans on the web, the Android app will display a message indicating that plans are available and can be purchased on the mobile browser or desktop web.
What members will see in the Android app:
How Purchases Show Up on Bank Statements
For purchases made via web, a member's bank statement will show the "statement descriptor" name you have set up in your connected Stripe account. Read more here about how to customize this in your Stripe account.
If a purchase is made via the iOS app, a member's bank statement should say something like "Apple.com Bill." The email confirmations a member receives when they make a payment via iOS will show the Mighty Networks app name (or whatever the name of the app is where they made their purchase).
